Oel?
More from Great-Grandma Esther: Oel? Olan? Orlen? "I'm always wanting to add an N or R," she says. "You've got to correct me, now." I'm just shocked that she has yet to call him Noie ("Like Noie in the Bible," she once told me about her Uncle Noah, and emphatically, as though she couldn't figure out how I missed the allusion) or Junior (which is what she always called him in-utero).

You could help her to remember by explaining that it's LEON backwards. That might really throw her off. I love it.
p.s. Of course I'm interested in your blog!
Oh yes, I think this will help her lots. . . . She'd probably just start calling him Leon. That would be funny--Malcolm and Leon?
(Thanks for being interested!)

It's site and right, though you did originally write the word sight, just to get all our homonyms in one sentence :)
I happened upon your site today via Lindsey Vosburg's and saw your beautiful kids--I'll post my comments about them on your own page, though. . . .
Yes, clearly still crazy! Wonderful. And more wonderful indeed that our God would fashion such a coincidence--nah, providence.
Love your blog! Did I miss Noel's stats? I saw the "chub" post, so I'm guessing he was at least an 8 pounder. :)
hello again...got the post on our site...thanks...we rarely get comments, what fun...my email is rachel@thehoods.net
can't wait to see some new pics
The stats. . . .
He was 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and 19.5 inches long. When we went to the doctor last Tuesday, he was 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and 20.5 inches. And chubby in the cheeks!

So, I saw that little link down there to Cotton Babies.
JKP Strange, are you using...dare I say it...CLOTH DIAPERS?
